ABOUT THE AUTHOR
"I write in black and white,
but I see my characters in living color.
If I've done a good job,
you will also see them in living color."
Suzanne writes women's fiction and romance novels that tell stories that feel so real, you may forget that it's fiction. Her stories often include married couples who face challenges that only make their love grow stronger as they tackle life's difficulties. Her stories often include military or legal themes because Suzanne has spent much of her life in a military environment and much of her career in legal settings.
Suzanne is a military veteran with a bachelor's degree from Saint Mary's College of California and a Juris Doctor degree from JFK University.
She is a member of the Author's Guild, the National Women's Book Association, Women Fiction Writers Association, and Romance Writers of America.
She has lived in England and Germany, and eight different American states. She has a lengthy professional career working in the medical field, the legal field and education. Long before that she was a waitress and for a number of years she also ran a home day care.
It was during her day care years that Suzanne first started writing (see her blog for a story about her writer's life). She and her husband have three adult children and a growing number of grandchildren - all of whom are incredibly adorable!
When she is not working or writing books Suzanne enjoys hanging with her children, playing with her grandchildren, gardening, swimming, running, boating, skiing, and weekend trips with her husband-especially if the destination is coastal.
She also enjoys dancing and making wine with her husband of more than 40 years (her bad-boy, adorable high school sweetheart).
Yes, there can truly be love at first sight. Suzanne fell for her husband on the school bus in high school, and they have been best friends ever since.
